The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in data engineering, including Data Orchestration, Data Pipelines, Medallion Architecture, and Data Governance, coupled with proven leadership capabilities. This role involves strategic planning, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative environment while delivering high-quality data solutions to support business goals.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data engineers, fostering growth and promoting a collaborative culture.</li> <li>Oversee hiring, onboarding, and professional development of team members.</li> <li>Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Define and execute the technical strategy for data engineering in alignment with business needs.</li> <li>Drive the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and workflows using batch and streaming technologies.</li> <li>Oversee the implementation and optimization of Apache Airflow for orchestrating and automating data workflows.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide technical leadership in maintaining Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) architecture to ensure organized and high-quality data.</li> <li>Establish and enforce best practices for data governance, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and quality.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track data quality metrics.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Lead the development of data pipelines to process and analyze billing data, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.</li> <li>Build and optimize data solutions to support customer analytics, enabling actionable insights into customer behavior and trends.</li> <li>Collaborate with finance, product, and marketing teams to define requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand and prioritize data needs.</li> <li>Act as a bridge between technical teams and business leaders, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of solutions.</li> <li>Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and recommend relevant tools and practices.</li> <li>Promote the adoption of CI/CD practices in data engineering workflows to enhance reliability and efficiency.</li> <li>Drive the continuous improvement of team processes, tools, and methodologies.</li> </ul> <h2>Experience and Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.</li> <li>8+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.</li> <li>Proven experience in building and managing teams focused on data pipelines, orchestration, and governance.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, Medallion architecture, and distributed data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Databricks, dbt).</li> <li>Expertise in cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).</li> <li>Strong programming skills in Python or other general-purpose programming languages.</li> <li>In-depth understanding of data governance principles, data cataloging, and data quality management.</li> <li>Excellent p
