Job Title: GL Accountant Group/Team: Finance Reports to: Assistant Controller Location: Beaverton, OR Employment Type: FT, Salary, Exempt Travel: 0-10% THE OPUS GROUP The Opus Group represents a shared services model that provides administrative support to our “house of brands.” Our house of brands includes Opus, MAS and Verve. Operating independently, each brand serves its own clients with purposeful services and solutions. Each brand designs, creates and manages their client’s most important events and experiential campaigns. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The GL Accountant is primarily focused on supporting aspects of Accounting management such as AP, GL, balance sheet reconciliation, cash management, and audit preparation. This individual will perform professional accounting activities for specialized, complex and/or functional areas requiring the expert knowledge and professional application of accounting principles, practices and techniques in accordance with company policy and GAAP. This position works within the Accounting team and interacts with and is expected to maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. YOU SHOULD HAVE

- 2-3+ Years of Accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus
- Exceptional skills and accuracy in reconciling accounts
- Ability to effectively deliver and work with minimal guidance or direction
- Highly accurate to process high volume of invoices with minimal error
- Ability to effectively prioritize workload on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to deliver effective, accurate results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and pivot tables)
- Participates in monthly financial closing to produce results in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepares and conducts accurate, timely account reconciliations in accordance with the established month end close schedule.
- Assists in the preparation of schedules/rollforward for annual financial audit.
- Performs accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations and foreign exchange.
- Participates in cross-functional projects to drive overall efficiency of the Finance department.
- Reviews and analysis of departmental costs.
- Provides additional administrative, operational, or financial support, as needed.
