<p><b>Your work environment</b></p><p>As an analyst at Structured Acquisition Finance Mid Corporates (SAF MC), you will use your talent to analyse financing opportunities for Private Equity clients. From day one, you will be part of the entire deal process, from initial client meetings, modelling &amp; structuring complex financing solutions, to eventually closing the deal. Working with like-minded ambitious colleagues you will grow your understanding of debt structuring and of companies active in a broad range of sectors. As a member of the deal team, you will ensure the best possible credit structure for our clients, in which you have a connecting role, within ING with credit risk and other financing departments, and externally with Private Equity funds, management teams, entrepreneurs and other banks. Bring your fresh ideas and perspectives, and we will give you the floor to stand out.</p><p></p><p><b>Role and responsibilities</b></p><p>As an analyst at Structured Acquisition Finance Mid Corporates (SAF MC), you work in a self-managing team of around 20 specialists based at ING’s head office in Amsterdam. You are the point of contact for Private Equity clients, who you will support with their acquisitions. We are customer-oriented, and our goal is to always exceed our customers’ expectations. At SAF MC, you will have the opportunity to work in small deal teams of 2 to 3 people in an informal working environment, which will give you a lot of responsibility from the start. Your role will involve:</p><ul><li>Analysing business models, sector trends and financial figures, to model forecasts and scenarios;</li><li>Visiting clients and managing a variety of stakeholders including debt advisors and other lenders;  </li><li>Drafting credit proposals, term sheets and lending documentation; and</li><li>Working with departments across ING, such as relationship management teams, credit risk, corporate finance and other lending teams.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>How to succeed</b></p><p>You have an analytical mind and an eye for detail. You see the bigger picture and are excited by complex financing structures.
