Spring 2025 - Community Investment Intern  in  GAC Savannah

Unique Skills:

This is for a Spring 2025 in-person internship from January/February until April/May 2025. Must work at least 20 hours a week for a minimum of 14 weeks.

 

This position will be posted until 11/6/2024 and interviews will start in November.

 

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Work within a fast paced, ever changing workplace.

Comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1.  Organize and lead volunteer events and community drives/collections.

2.  Manage the annual chartiable grant process.

3.  Recommend and create an annual audit process for non-profits. 

4.  Organize and lead youth engagment activites. 

5.  Knowledge or ability to quickly learn YourCause software. 

6.  Comfortable with reviewing complex data and making recomendations. 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

1.  Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Public Affairs, Public Administration, Social/Public Policy, Non Profit Management, or related degree, and graduating after May 2025.

2.  Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

3.  Have reliable transporation for the duration of the internship.

4.  Be able to work at least 14 weeks, 20 hours a week, in person during the months between January/February - April/May 2025.
