Position Highlights

This position will work multiple positions as a Cook, Host and Cafeteria Server.

Cook:
A Brief Overview:
Responsible for preparation, cooking, service, and distribution of food in accordance with approved menus for patients/residents, employees and visitors.

What you will do:

• Prepares all food items for patients/resident, meal service, staff, cafeteria, and special functions.
• Meets standards established by appropriate leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency.
• Delivers all products according to time schedule set for specific item.
• Makes recommendations to leader for all menu items.
• Completes daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
• Responsible for delivering excellent customer service by utilizing the appropriate scripts developed for Food Services.
• Ensures that all dietary procedures are following in accordance with established policies.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned

Cafeteria Server/Cashier:

A Brief Overview:

Responsible for light food preparation, plating food, putting away storeroom stock, catering functions, and assigned cleaning of the kitchen.

What you will do:

• Make recommendations to Leader for all menus.
• Complete daily assigned cleaning in accordance with approved standards.
• Stocks refrigerator, storerooms, work areas with appropriate labeling and dating procedures, food temperature record keeping, breaking down boxes.
• May operation dish machine, garbage disposal, steam tables, coffee makers, toasters, food processor, espresso machine, and coffee grinder.
• Serves meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• High School or GED Equivalent
• ServSafe Certificate - National Restaurant Association Upon Hire
• Less than 1 year Food service/cooking related education and /or training.
