The Role:

Bally’s Corporation has two rapidly growing sports content brands, Stadium and Bally Live. Stadium is an interactive sports network (OTT, Digital, Mobile) with a unique mix of high-end produced linear sports content and full fan interactivity via chat, games, rewards, and more. Bally Live (Digital, Mobile) is a destination to watch live sports like MiLB, Poker, PFL, and more with the same interactivity focus as Stadium. Both brands share a rewards program and user authentication.

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Manager, Social & Community to join our Audience Development team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep passion for sports, a comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, and an expertise in building communities. This role will be responsible for developing and executing engaging community growth strategies that align with our brand and drive audience engagement. Your expertise in social strategy, building communities and digital targeting is crucial to support the network's social media strategy and community. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with Stadium and Bally Live’s objectives and brand identity.
  • Build out a social media/digital community strategy that drives users to the Stadium and Bally Live apps and websites.
  • Create and curate engaging content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn, while maintaining a consistent voice and style.
  • Manage a social media team that creates videos,  graphics, GIFs, and infographics, to accompany social media posts, ensuring a high level of quality and creativity.
  • Collaborate with the broader audience development team to plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to increase brand awareness and drive audience engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for Stadium to connect with its target audience.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize future campaigns and improve overall engagement and reach.
  • Manage social media communities, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, while fostering positive relationships with followers.
  • Stay up to date with sports news, events, and trends to ensure timely and relevant content creation and sharing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as production and product, to gather content and coordinate social media coverage for live events, interviews, and special features.
  • Stay informed about best practices in social media management, graphic design, and sports marketing, and proactively suggest innovative ideas to enhance Stadium's social media presence.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Social Media Manager, preferably in the sports industry.
  • Expert in building content calendars, social media strategy
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), After Effects, Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices for each channel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging content and adapt it for different social media platforms.
  • Experience building digital communities and growing social media following.
  • Familiarity with sports terminology, events, and trends.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
