Purpose
The Technical Staff Assistant IV will assist engineers in the design, procurement, fabrication, assembly, and test of prototype electrical and mechanical equipment in a laboratory and machine shop environment.
Responsibilities
Develops technical drawings of designs for part manufacture and/or procurement
Performs challenging fabrication, assembly, and maintenance work. Diagnoses equipment problems and develops solutions
Procures components and materials, receives and inspects fabricated parts against drawings and specifications
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Four (4) years of experience in the operation, maintenance and fabrication of equipment and/or experience with
