Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) (24-018)

As an SDET at CTI, here are the responsibilities to anticipate:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Drive decisions about test automation strategies and frameworks
• Participate in user events to better understand end-user needs
• Support distributed development and test teams
• Utilize test automation frameworks, write test code, and participate in code reviews
• Create end-to-end automated testing

This is a remote position with travel requirement as needed to various customer sites.

Requirements

Necessary skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience with creating and managing test automation frameworks
• Ability to work independently and within a testing team
• Experience leading technical decisions, including the ability to break down problems, identify solutions, and communicate the process and conclusions to an engineering team
• Ability to communicate effectively via multiple mediums and with management, co-workers, and customers, both technical and non-technical
• The ability to obtain a US security clearance post start date. U.S. Citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Beneficial skills and experience

• Experience implementing Quality Assurance best practices pertaining to test definition, requirements tracking, and test automation
• Passion for developing customer-focused solutions
• Experience with Tactical Assault Kit (TAK), Common Operational Picture (COP) platforms, and/or C5ISR platforms
• The successful candidate should be prepared to travel as needed for project-related activities. This may include client meetings, conferences, training sessions, or on-site troubleshooting
