About the role:
As an Insider Threat and Data Protection Analyst you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization against internal security risks posed by employees, contractors, and partners. Additionally, you’ll be working to ensure our data protection strategy meets both compliance and technical standards. You will work with a team dedicated to identifying, assessing, and mitigating both insider and adversarial threats to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of Worldpay systems and data.

What you will be doing:

  • Insider Threat Analysis: Build risk models to identify patterns of user noncompliance. Identify strategies, policies, and procedures to detect, respond to, and mitigate insider threats effectively. Work with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.

  • Threat Modeling: Work with technical teams like cyber threat intelligence, attack surface management and detection engineering to understand the organizations data risk profile and adversaries, then put in place detections and policies to prevent exfiltration.

  • Technology Implementation: Utilizes strong knowledge and hands on experience with data loss prevention (DLP) and User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) technologies, products and vendors to proactively identify insider threats and anomalous behaviors.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, privacy, security engineering, and cyber incident response teams to ensure alignment of insider threat/data protection response processes with organizational policies and regulations.

  • Organizational Change: Drive cultural and operational changes within the organization to foster a proactive approach to insider threat management and cybersecurity awareness.

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Previous experience as part of an insider threat, information security, data protection or other risk-based team preferred.

Familiarity or experience with:

  • Understanding of insider threat concepts, methodologies, and best practices

  • Working knowledge of global legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements related to insider threat management/data protection

  • Experience with information security tools such as SIEM, DLP, Endpoint, UEBA and data exfiltration detection techniques

  • Knowledge of security and access management concepts such as network protocols, secure design, access controls, encryption, data protection, privileged access, etc.

  • Excellent decision-making, problem solving, time management, communications, presentation and organizational skills

  • High level verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $125,680.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
