Team Lead for Data & AI Enablement Team

<p><em><strong>Products and Cloud Engineering &amp; Operations</strong> business function is responsible for ensuring that Basware continues to provide its customers with industry leading SaaS solutions to deliver true automation for the CFO’s office. As a global team, they create and execute the product strategy, new product innovations, roadmap, design, product development, and product launches for Basware’s global product portfolio. Together with other Baswareans, Products and Cloud Engineering &amp; Operation ensures that our customers can successfully meet their business objectives through cooperating with Basware and using our product and service portfolio.</em></p> <p><strong>In this position you will need to act as a Project Manager as well.</strong></p> <p>As Project Manager &amp; Team Lead for our Data &amp; AI Enablement team, you will play a central role in delivering impactful internal data and AI initiatives across the organization. In this newly established position, you will lead a distributed team of four professionals spanning multiple countries. You will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of cross-functional projects such as AI pilots, data analysis efforts, Power BI implementations, and data migrations.</p> <p>You’ll act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to scope, prioritize, and execute projects that enable smarter decision-making and more effective use of data and AI technologies across the organization. This role reports to the Head of Data &amp; AI and requires close collaboration with engineering teams, product managers, and business leads alike. In addition to driving delivery, you will also guide and support your team’s growth and ensure consistent ways of working across projects.</p> <p>To thrive in this role, we expect you to bring a strong foundation in data project delivery, combined with the leadership skills to guide a diverse and distributed team. Your ideal background would come from consultancy or internal enablement teams where you’ve led the execution of business-focused data initiatives. </p> <p>• Proven experience delivering data and AI-related projects in an Agile environment, ideally from a data consultancy or similar. </p> <p>• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, and ideally some exposure to Microsoft Copilot </p> <p>• Understanding of BI tools and reporting implementations (e.g., Power BI) </p> <p>• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning priorities and managing expectations </p> <p>• Strong leadership skills with previous experience managing a team and/or cross-functional stakeholders </p> <p>• Background in data or analytics, with an appreciation for the potential of AI tools – hands-on experience with AI is mandatory.</p> <p>• Fluent in English and comfortable working across different time zones and cultures </p> <p>• A structured, delivery-driven mindset with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs</p>
