The role you'll play:

You will be given the opportunity to produce digestible and actionable insights and track and monitor technology markets as well as the industry competitors of tomorrow. In this role you will help identify which emerging tech markets will flourish and which will fade, by using data and not your gut.

Your main tasks:

• Publish digestible, differentiated, and incisive research on our client-only platform.
• Analyze the momentum of Healthcare & Life Sciences startups, tech markets, and competitive dynamics.
• Develop forward-looking analyses and insights for public-facing reports across digital health and drug development topics. 
• Support PR and media requests with subject matter expertise.
• Proactively identify industry trends and customer needs to guide content planning. 
• Must be passionate and knowledgeable about technology investment, venture capital, and early-stage innovation in Healthcare & Life Sciences.

What you bring to the table:

• 3+ years professional experience working in a Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry related position (pharma/biotech, healthcare provider, health tech vendor, or related investment banking, equity research, consulting, or journalism experience). 
• Writing experience within the above fields is a must - ability to synthesize complex concepts into digestible, forward looking insights.
• Demonstrate a contagious passion for the material: Should be a startup or tech geek passionate about all things healthcare and/or pharmaceutical related.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and leadership abilities. You should feel comfortable speaking to customers and prospects about trends and investment activity in the healthcare industry.
• Some startup experience is a plus, a thick skin and high tolerance for change required.
• BA/BS required; relevant graduate degrees a plus.

Please note this is a US-based role.

In addition to base salary, this role is also eligible for a bonus opportunity.

A little bit about our pay practices: Typically, we will hire at our Hiring Target, but actual starting pay may be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, market rate, the qualified pool of candidates, internal compensation, candidate experience, and budgetary constraints.

Compensation$93,750—$118,750 USD
