Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Specialist, HR Operations and Reporting role supports Stream’s business operations by taking ownership of parts of the employee life cycle. This role has an ownership stake within process review, data entry, reporting, and general HR processes. Due to the impacts of HR data, strong attention to detail and professional communication skills are needed to ensure correct data flow and viable process changes.

This role will be on the front line of HR solutioning, working within established processes to ensure continued org success while finding ways to continuously improve. Systems background is not required, but a willingness to ask questions and learn is needed as we continue to develop our processes to meet the evolving nature of HR.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Troubleshoot issues experienced by our employees to ensure both compliance and business support.
• Work with HR Operations Manager to redesign processes to streamline HR department and simplify the data entry process.
• Think strategically on the common uses of HR data to proactively propose and work on reports to promote stronger ties within the business.
• Ask questions and identify potential gaps as we rework our HR Systems.
• Act as a project manager for quarterly process improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work within the HR Ops team to take ownership and responsibility of select data points to ensure proper and timely entry within the system.
• Develop reports to proactively meet business and HR Business Partner needs.
• Develop project plans for process improvements, under the supervision of HR Ops Manager to execute project plans.
• Work with IT, HR, Accounting, and Operational leadership to map workflows and setup future process improvements.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE /  KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES: 

• At least 2+ years of related experience in General HR or HR Systems.
• Intermediated/ advanced competence in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong business-minded thought process, willingness to step out of your department to learn high-level back-office operations.
