Internship Details:
- The Corporate Accounting Intern will be primarily responsible for a small scale project to review historical transactions for “Worktag” data within the Workday accounting system and ensure that matching transactions have the same set of Worktags (i.e. the accrual and subsequent payment of a liability). Where required, the intern will prepare journal entries to provide matching Worktags.
- The estimated project time would be 4-6 weeks. During the course of the internship, the team may seek out help on additional tasks such as running reports, formatting files, collecting sample requests, etc.
- Expected in NY office 4 days a week (Monday-Thursday)
Responsibilities:
- Review Workday financial information for historical balancing transactions
- Prepare and record journal entries in Workday to align details for project work
- Ad hoc tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Major in Business (Accounting, Finance preferred)
- Proactive and highly process and detail-oriented
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Team player
- Positive attitude
Please note compensation for this position is between $20- $25 per hour.
