Job Description

The Sales Product Expert - Gear Transmission Products, is responsible for applying and selling products within the Bosch Rexroth gear transmission product portfolio, serving our customers, collaborating with our regional salespeople, and our Mobile Solution Partners for profitable growth. The ideal Sales Product Expert is a  proven authority in product and application skills, and has the commitment to continue building our winning culture in our Mobile markets.  This position is nationally oriented to increase sales and is globally connected within our business units.

Job duties:

• Provide application solutions within our product portfolio for our customers.
• Empower the salespeople at our customers to drive success.
• Develop long-term customer relationships to serve their technical and commercial needs.
• Develop long-term working relationships with our Mobile Solution Partners.
• Develop long-term working relationships with our global business units and manufacturing facilities.
• Develop market information for future growth for product development and applications
• Provide expert commercial advice for profitable growth to our sales team members.
• Actively engage with customers on sales calls in the region.
• Actively work and maintain timely project management information in our CRM system.
• Empower internal service, quality, and accounting functions.
• Empower sales efforts to maximize product profitability (EBIT).
• Work locally and empower our global business.
• Domestic and international travel required
• Smartwork/hybrid work possibility

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in an electrical, mechanical, or fluid power discipline or equivalent education and/or experience
• 5+ years in an application engineering and/or sales position serving Mobile OEMs within the gear transmission applications desired.
• Proven expert product and application knowledge and experience in the mobile hydraulic markets.
• Strategic planning, communication, account management/sales supervisory skills.
• Team-oriented with a high motivation to serve customers.
• Detailed-oriented with exceptional time management skills
