Senior Wargaming Specialist

LMI is seeking a Senior Wargaming Specialist to provide expertise to the USTRANSCOM J5 Strategy, Strategic Engagement & Wargaming program at Scott AFB, IL. This is an onsite position and cannot be worked remotely.

Responsibilities

The Senior Wargaming Specialist will provide expertise in designing, developing, coordinating, and executing wargames, future-focused (5-15 years) TTXs, senior leader seminars (SLSs), and related experimentation activities at the combatant command level. Lead expert support to administration, planning, execution and conducting after action activities including reports and analysis for USTRANSCOM-led wargames. Provide subject matter expertise for USTRANSCOM support of other wargames. Articulate concepts and capabilities for inclusion in wargames.

Qualifications

• Masters plus 11 years of experience or Bachelors plus 13 years of experience preferred
• Senior staff level experience (JS, Service Headquarters, Major Command (MAJCOM), Agency and or CCMD level experience) 
• Three years of wargame experience (desired)
• Project Leadership, Logistics, Distribution, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Strategy, Joint Capability Development, Governance, DoD wargaming design experience
• Understanding of USTRANSCOM issues and priorities
• Experience with and understanding of DoD Joint operations
• Strong analytic and presentation development skills
• Strong Communication Skills
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is preferred. Ability to obtain one required

 Targeted Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000
