Life Science Reagent Technical Specialist - Ann Arbor, MI

We seek a Life Science Reagent Technical Specialist for the Virtual Sales BioA Reagents & Consumables team. You will provide technical support and sales expertise across North America in this role. This role includes handling technical support inquiries for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays, supporting the Reagents & Consumables (R&C) sales team, and managing a sales territory in North America to build customer relationships and meet sales targets.

We seek a Life Science Reagent Technical Specialist for the Virtual Sales BioA Reagents & Consumables team. In this role, you will provide technical support and sales expertise across North America. This includes handling technical support inquiries for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays, supporting the Reagents & Consumables (R&C) sales team, and managing a sales territory in North America to build customer relationships and meet sales targets.

The current team consists of six professionals, and we are looking to add headcount and grow the business alongside you. This position is available full-time. If you reside in or near our US headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, you will have the flexibility of home or hybrid office work. The position may include occasional domestic or international travel (10%).

What You Will Accomplish With Us:

• Manage technical support requests for Polyplus reagents, Cytokines, BI-Media, and cell-based assays across North America
• Assist the R&C sales team with technical support during sales activities
• Collaborate with product management to resolve complex product inquiries
• Analyze customer needs, generate leads, and recommend solutions
• Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) to document support cases, leads, and sales activities
• Promote newly launched LSR&C products and ensure successful implementation
• Manage the North America sales territory, achieving sales and revenue targets
• Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with growth strategies.
• Willingness to travel occasionally up to 10% to domestic and international destinations

 What will convince us:

• BS/BA in Life Sciences
• 2+ years of experience in cell culture and transient transfection
• Hands-on ​Experience with DNA/siRNA transfection, cell matrices & coatings, and application of cytokines
• Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office
• High emotional intelligence skills
• A proactive and self-motivated personality with good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English. Business language skills in French
