Clear Sight Partners is a building a premier destination for fully integrated ophthalmology, medical optometry and optical retail services designed to provide comprehensive eye care to our patients. We have united 16 locations across the area to serve our market and are currently in a high-growth phase.


We are recruiting for a full-time Physician Liaison to help us grow our reputation in the community.


As a Physician Liaison, you will be a brand ambassador reaching out physicians and other referral partners in order to build a relationship and prospect referral leads. Your ultimate goal is to create a pipeline of new patients for our optometrists and ophthalmologists so they can continue to serve the community with life-changing eye care services.


In your first 180 days, you will have a ramp up period to build your database of referring physicians and build meaningful relationships on behalf of our ophthalmologists and optometrists. You will have ample support from the VP of Marketing and operations team to ensure your success. Your days will vary from visiting physician offices in the field and planning networking events, to sitting down to manage data, record your activities, write thank you notes and more.


In your second 180 days, you will have aggressive, but attainable, new patient goals to hit each month. You will review your activities and focus on what generates results. You will also contribute to growing your initiatives, which may include bringing on new team members. You may be responsible for overseeing a designated territory of physicians and medical clinics, or specific lines of business.

Requirements

  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Execute initiatives to build patient volume and favorable provider perceptions among internal and external referral streams.
  • Develop strong relationships with local community organizations and businesses.
  • Implement specific outreach, relationship building and marketing tactics to meet referral goals.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing communication with referring providers and/or their office staff, including routine or follow-up visits, emails, phone calls and special event planning.
  • Partner with our physicians to assist them in providing personal follow up thank you notes and phone calls. Close the loop on all referrals.
  • Maintain a database of records and track all outreach efforts in a customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Run reports in both an electronic medical record (EMR) and CRM system to monitor referrals through the patient lifecycle, identify trends, report on KPIs and more.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager or designee

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Position reports to Business Development Manager  or designee.
  • Position has no direct reports.

Working Conditions and Environmental/Physical Demands: 

  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Operating motor vehicle.

Position/Type/ Expected Hours of Work:


This is a full-time position (40 hours) and core hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the potential for evening and weekend hours as required.


Travel: 


Travel between sites within a specific region is required.


Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a health care field in a communications position within a sales and marketing department. Direct contact with physicians and their staff strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or Healthcare-related field.
  • Ability to use software, including but not limited to CRM, EMR and Excel. 
  • Training in sales strongly preferred.
  • Vision care experience, both with optical and ophthalmology, strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License as daily driving is a job requirement.
