Your Role: 

For our Finance team we are on the lookout for a Fixed Assets Accountant who is self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile for the final result. The ideal candidate should be a proactive person who is not only able to plan efficiently, but also capable of working under pressure. The role reports to the Chief Accountant.

Your Responsibilities:

• Record fixed asset acquisitions and disposals of assets in Soft1 ERP, for both Tax and IFRS registry.
• Run the monthly depreciation and ensure that depreciation accounting is completed in a timely manner.
• Perform the month-end reconciliation of General Ledger/Fixed Asset Register
• Act as the point of contact and participate in audits, by providing all necessary data to the Auditors of the Company.
• Perform Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-end close activities within specific deadlines.
• Manage ad hoc projects/requests and active participation on all accounting activities, according to needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of  accounting experience in a similar company and/or Big 4 and/or Fintech.
• 2 years of working experience in similar position (fixed asset accounting)
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
•  MSc in Accounting and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, ACA,DipIFR) will be considered a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and Greek Accounting Standards/CIT (ΕΛΠ-ΚΦΕ)
• Experience in IFRS16/IAS16 applications( will be considered a plus)
• Fluency in Greek & and English, both verbal and written.
• Excellent working knowledge in Excel
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems. (Experience with Soft1 ERP will be considered a plus).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline
