Reliatus Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead clinic-based ABA services in Ahwautukee, AZ. The Clinical Director will oversee all clinical operations, ensure compliance with BACB and regulatory standards, and collaborate closely with operational leadership to support sustainable growth and high-quality care.

Benefits

Position Summary

The Clinical Director – Clinic Based is responsible for overseeing the clinical integrity, quality of care, and day-to-day clinical operations of center-based ABA therapy services. This role provides direct leadership to BCBAs, BCBA Trainees, and RBTs while ensuring treatment fidelity, ethical practice, and positive client outcomes.

The Clinical Director partners with administrative and operational teams to align clinical initiatives with organizational goals and plays a key role in staff development, compliance, and program growth.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight

  • Develop, review, and oversee individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs

  • Ensure clinical practices align with BACB ethical guidelines and evidence-based standards

  • Conduct routine audits of clinical documentation for quality and compliance

  • Provide supervision and clinical guidance to BCBAs, BCBA Trainees, RBTs, and RBTs

Staff Management & Development

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of clinical staff

  • Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and professional development for BCBAs and team members

  • Monitor staff performance and deliver constructive, growth-focused feedback

Client Care & Outcomes

  • Monitor client progress and ensure timely data-driven adjustments to treatment plans

  • Conduct regular case reviews and oversee data collection and analysis

  • Facilitate parent and caregiver training to support skill generalization across environments

Operational Leadership

  • Collaborate with administrative teams to ensure appropriate caseload distribution and staffing utilization

  • Analyze clinical data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support strategic planning and clinic growth initiatives

  • Address client and family concerns with professionalism and responsiveness

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, insurance, and BACB requirements

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Oversee billing and authorization processes to ensure services are properly documented and reimbursed

Qualifications

Required

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • Current BCBA or BCBA-D certification in good standing

  • Current Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the practicing state, if applicable

  • Completion of 8-Hour BACB Supervisor Training

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a BCBA in a center-based / clinic-based ABA setting
