Fulfillment Lead

Description

The Fulfillment Lead is at the heart of our order fulfillment operations. This role oversees daily warehouse activities, ensuring that orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. You’ll lead a dedicated team, providing the direction they need to meet company standards and customer expectations. Your role will have a direct impact on Humm Kombucha’s success by ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency in the fulfillment process.

• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday from 7am to 4pm; occasional overtime may be required.
• Environment: Work indoors, outdoors, and in refrigerated conditions; must be comfortable handling heavy equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations for order fulfillment, including picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Support and direct warehouse staff, holding team members accountable to ensure a high standard of accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Food Safety, GMP, and Safety Protocols.
• Manage and reconcile inventory in our ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Communicate proactively with the team to identify and resolve barriers to success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Logistics) to ensure smooth order processing and on-time delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve order discrepancies, inventory shortages, and product damages.
• Foster positive relationships with third-party partners, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize operations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Team player with leadership skills: You can motivate, support, and hold your team accountable.
• Warehouse expertise: Previous experience with fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping/receiving.
• Forklift certified: Skilled in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and similar equipment.
• Attention to detail: You understand the importance of accuracy, especially in inventory and order processing.
• Tech-savvy: Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and ERP systems.
• Problem solver: You take initiative and approach challenges with practical solutions.
