Warehouse Manager/Driver

Nycom is a 40-year old company focused on “Excellence and Customer Allegiance”. With offices throughout the Southeast, our specialty is interior construction involving laboratory casework (furniture), exhaust hoods and equipment for clients in the Educational, Industrial, Research and Healthcare markets.

Nycom is looking for a Warehouse Manager and delivery driver interested in joining our team working out of our Acworth, GA office.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Individual must possess effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple and changing responsibilities
• Position requires the ability to and is responsible for driving and operating our vehicles, including box truck
• This individual will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
• Must be proficient with computers in addition to other responsibilities (Outlook / Microsoft Office)

A pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check will be a requirement to starting employment.

Requirements

• Operates company vehicles, including vans, trucks, and pick-up trucks to make assigned deliveries and pickups
• Assists in the loading, unloading and moving of materials and supplies within the warehouse area; operates a fork lift to move heavy material and physically lifts materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Unloads equipment, parts and supplies at job sites and keeps crews supplied with necessary materials
• Maintains inventory in the storage areas of the warehouse. Includes maintaining an inventory of special tools
• Performs other duties as assigned
