Associate Graphic Designer

Holcim Building Envelope is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team as Product Label Design Associate. 

 
The Product Label Design Associate coordinates and executes design and development of labeling content
to promote safe and effective use of Holcim Solutions and Products US, LLC products for users around the
world. The Develops labeling based upon current industry standards, best practices, regulatory
requirements and brand specifications. Coordinates labeling reviews and approvals throughout Holcim
Solutions and Products US, LLC, preparation of labeling components for submission to regulatory
agencies, and participation in labeling negotiations with suppliers resulting in product approvals or
labeling updates. The role requires a capacity to incorporate knowledge of specific labeling regulations to
develop and review labeling to assure compliance with all applicable labeling requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties as assigned)
• Design and update labeling artwork along standards for commercial and consumer packaged
products
• Ensure artwork meets corporate standards& regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with R&D and cross-functional team members to develop labeling artwork
and solve creative challenges
• Collaborate with suppliers and Operations to ensure products have the most up to date labeling
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively to meet deadlines

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Solid personal computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AdobePro
• Functional knowledge of graphic design software such as Indesign or Illustrator
• Must be capable of independent work in a matrix organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• College degree preferred
