About the role
We are looking for a Senior Business Affairs Executive to add to the business affairs team for Amazon Freevee. This role will also provide deal-making services across all of the scripted and unscripted series deals. This role will be located in Culver City and will report to the Head of Business Affairs, Freevee.
Key job responsibilities
• The Sr. Business Affairs Executive will own the negotiation of writer, producer, cast, production company and other related deals and will work closely with Studio legal affairs to assist in finalizing agreements and dealing with production issues as they arise.
• Effectively negotiate and interact with agents, managers and outside attorneys and be able to efficiently communicate status and tradeoffs with other members of the Amazon Studios team including Creative, Production, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Legal, as well as Amazon executives outside of Amazon Studios.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in this department and across the studio, build strong internal client relationships, effectively advise senior-level executives under time-sensitive conditions and generate client satisfaction through strategic thinking and risk analysis.
• Must be able to manage a varied, high-volume workload efficiently and smoothly, operate autonomously within corporate parameters, and remain cool and levelheaded in pressurized situations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $115,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of entertainment industry deal negotiation experience
- 6+ years of studio, production company or television network experience
- Experience negotiating complex agreements with a firm understanding of legal terminology and reasoning
- Experience working for a production company, studio, or television network
Preferred Qualifications
- J.D., or MBA
- Experience in content negotiation, acquisition or business development
