Property Accountant

Position: Property Accountant

Position Reports to: Lead Hotel Accountant

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Property Accountant.

What will you be doing most days?

·        Be in full-charge bookkeeping duties for multiple hotel sites

·        Oversee the daily posting of hotel financial results

·        Create a monthly variance analysis of hotel income statements

·        Oversee the monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

·        Be the lead contact with hotel management’s accounting needs

·        Complete year-end audit requests

What are the requirements for this position?

·        You have two or more years’ experience in accounting, preferably with experience in multiple locations or sites

·        You have a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S. /B.A.)

·        You work well in a team environment

·        You have strong Excel skills - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon)

·        You have a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is largely a sedentary role; however, you must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time as the job dictates

Travel Requirements

This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel may be outside the local area and overnight.
