Summary

Performs IT studies in Data Analysis that requires significant knowledge of related fields. Develops, maintains, and manages advanced reporting, analytics, and dashboards. Creates processes/tools to access data from various sources.

What You'll Do

  • Create and maintain automated dashboards, metric reports, and data visualizations to inform leadership and aid in decision making  
  • Develop tools to manage processes such as goal and project tracking 
  • Explore, gather, and organize data from various applications/systems to use in analysis and reporting 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues 
  • Support the organization with ad hoc reporting 

What It Takes To Succeed

  • In-depth knowledge of SQL (structured query language) for querying databases
  • Familiar with SQL environments (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, IBM DB2, MySQL, etc.
  • Knowledge of the following SQL Tools:
    • SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
    • Oracle SQL Developer
    • IBM Data Studio
  • Knowledge of the following Data visualization tools:
    • Tableau
    • Power BI
    • SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
  • ETL (Extract – Transform – Load) tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), GoldenGate, etc.
  • Cloud storage tools (Snowflake, DataIKU)
  • MS Office tools
    • Excel
    • Access
    • Sharepoint
  • Development tools such as Visual Studio are helpful
  • Knowledge of Work Management tools such as Maximo, SAP are also helpful.
