Are you a friendly and experienced veterinary assistant with excellent customer service skills? We are a busy and innovative veterinary practice specializing in house calls. We seek a talented, detail-oriented individual to join our team full-time. You will help us deliver top-notch veterinary care by directly supporting our clients (by phone, email, and text) and assisting our veterinarians at house call appointments.

About the Position in More Detail

Above all else, this is a customer service position based in our office in Natick. You'll interact directly with clients about their pets by phone, email, and text message, so strong customer service skills are essential. If you are comfortable having warm and friendly phone calls with clients, and also can easily draft pleasant and professional email messages, please read on!

We rely on computers and innovative technology, so it's important that you're at ease using computers and with learning and mastering new computer software tools.

In addition to your customer service role, you will assist veterinarians at house call appointments. You'll be restraining animals for the doctors and helping administer treatments, so prior veterinary experience is ideal.

Location

You'll be based in our office in Natick. On days that you're assisting a doctor at house call appointments, you typically will start and end at the doctor's home base, in Boston or MetroWest.

Schedule

The schedule averages roughly 37 hours a week. You will work every Saturday, as well as a variable weekday schedule depending on the needs of the practice.
