About the Role:

The Packaging department, during the development of packaging projects, must provide the necessary documentation to recognize the specifications of the material to be used in production, detailing the technical drawing to be produced, the quantities to be used and the documents of conformity from the suppliers.

We are currently looking for a talented person who will support, for 24 months, the development and implementation of the project of revision of the system of Technical Data Sheets packaging on the new Devex software platform.

Duration of the contract: 2 years

Main Responsibilities:

Main activities:

• Data collection & cleaning using the available tools
• Collection of all material specifications in document form by suppliers or experienced developers and loading of these documents into aggregated codes within the Devex system
• Checking and collecting with developers and packaging managers
• Revision of technical drawings
• Check and edit graphic fields to update data according to the new graphic guidelines
• Analysis of the impact of the new Devex data sheet system on other existing tools such as the grammage tool, other tools for calculating taxes and calculating the recyclability of materials, in collaboration with the Product Design Management function
• Analysis of the differences in vocabulary in the different regions and societies integrated by acquisitions to develop a common vocabulary
• System testing in the various stages of release and results report to the Function Manager and project steering.

Who we are looking for:

• The ideal candidate is a graduate in Material Science, Material/Chemical/Packaging/Mechanical engineering, or similar graduation program
• Digital smart:

  • SAP knowledge
• English and Italian advanced level
• Packaging material and design knowledge
• Process oriented
• Strong project management competence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to handle multiple technical inputs and come to quick and insightful conclusions based upon them
• Flexibility, adaptability, and aptitude to teamwork
• Availability to travel and relocate
