Lead Data Engineer

Job Description:
The Lead Data Engineer will develop, integrate, maintain and enhance code and tool solutions in support of mission and enterprise data ETL. Work closely with other Data Engineers as well as other stakeholders (data scientists, data management officers, software and systems engineers, etc.) to design and implement scalable and shareable solutions to mature and expand mission and enterprise data capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop new tools, code, and services to execute data engineering activities
- Move structured and unstructured data using approved methods
- Execute data ingestion activities for storing data in a local or enterprise level location
- View data in its source format
- Develop code to format data that supports exploration
- Analyze source data formats and work
Here's what you need:
- 10 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analysis, or Science
- Experience in Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools and processes
- Knowledge of Python, AWS, SQL, APIs, Linux, or Geospatial tools data
- Led initiatives and teams within Data Engineer or analysis
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with: Docker, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, ElasticSearch / Kibana
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required to start

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
