Communications plays a key role in helping ASML engage with its stakeholder groups (customers, suppliers, investors, employees, future employees and local communities) in order to create trust. Role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic senior Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, with a proven ability to generate impactful communications strategies and content.

This role involves close interaction with business leaders, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders to drive effective communication initiatives that align with our organizational goals.

You will work with your peers across other teams, to drive strategic themes across ASML and to identify new opportunities for cross-functional or company-wide communications initiatives.

Relationships and Consultancy:

  • Contribute to setting the communications strategy

  • Provide strategic communications consultancy to various business units

  • Engage with business leaders and other stakeholders with regards to concrete campaigns, programs or high impact sector-specific initiatives
  • Represent the stakeholder voice in the concrete initiatives and deliverables

Communications Planning and Activation:

  • Maintain an ongoing overview of business plans, milestones, initiatives, upcoming events, and potential communication opportunities

  • Collaborate with the Head/Deputy Head to consolidate information for communication Plan meetings

  • Identify key facts and relevance for Newsroom content in collaboration with subject matter experts

  • Participate in multi-skilled teams for end-to-end campaign ownership within specific themes or axes

Executive Communications:

  • Contribute to the development of core narratives and specific (strategic) messaging needed for campaigns or always-on content creation

  • Develop talking points, presentations, social media content, speeches, video scripts, and other communication materials for executives in close collaboration with corporate communication teams and branding teams

  • Ensure all executive communications are aligned with broader campaign strategies

Sector Communications:

  • Lead or enable specific high impact sector communication initiatives to enhance impact on cross sector priorities or crucial step ups for specified target audiences

Education and experience

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in internal and/or corporate communications

  • Bachelor education in a relevant field

  • Advanced English skills (C1 or higher)

You are a senior communications professional with a proven track record in working with leadership teams in a complex, international and multiple-stakeholder environment. The following aspects are important in this role:

You assist peers and newer colleagues in improving their strategic thinking, collaboration, technical, and messaging skills. You are a team player and a strong contributor to team development.
