Assistant Director of Facilities

As the Assistant Director of Facilities, you will be responsible for maintaining all Kendal Crosslands Communities facilities in excellent condition by developing, planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance, grounds-keeping and transportation operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management or related field. 
• Minimum five years’ experience in facilities management along with five years’ management experience to include supervision of skilled craftspeople. 
• Knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, grounds, automotive, and transportation operations. 
• Engineering degree preferred.  Strong leadership ability. 
• Effective communication and teamwork skills. 
• Demonstrated understanding of operations and capital budget process.
• Basic computer skills necessary.

• Must maintain a valid driver’s license in the state of residence and be insurable by the Kendal Crosslands Communities insurance.

   

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to walk long distances, climb, drive, bend, stoop, and lift 25 lbs. up to 125 lbs. in the daily performance of the job.
