Compensation: Up to $43 per hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $12,000 with a two-year commitment

Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled and compassionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Independence, MO. This role is ideal for RNs looking to advance their clinical expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered cardiac specialty environment.

About the Unit:

• 36-bed Cardiac Specialty Unit

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratios:

  • Day Shift: 4-5:1

  • Night Shift: 5-6:1

• Common Patient Conditions:

  • Chest Pain, Stroke, COPD, Post-Op Recovery, GI, Accelerated Heart Rhythm, Drips

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive cardiac monitoring and nursing care to patients over the age of 16

• Interpret ECGs, identify abnormal heart rhythms, and respond to emergencies

• Deliver therapeutic and administrative services in accordance with hospital policies and protocols

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

• Assess and mitigate patient risks to support a safe clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience

• Education: Diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

• Licensure: Current RN license in Missouri or a Multistate RN license from a compact state

• Certifications:

  • BLS required upon hire

  • ACLS required within one year of hire
