Software Architect | About You
As a Software Architect, you are responsible for leading the architectural design and development of software applications while establishing and maintaining best practices, standards, and processes within a Software Development Center of Excellence (CoE). You will ensure the CoE improves software development processes, fosters innovation, and optimizes efficiency. You have a unique blend of technical understanding, leadership skills, and a commitment to driving software excellence. Your expertise in designing architecture, enforcing software development best practices, and providing guidance will be pivotal in driving innovation and optimizing Healthcare processes.
Software Architect | Day-to-Day
- Design and develop complex software applications while aligning with the organization’s business goals and technology strategy.
- Define and enforce software development best practices, coding standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality code across the organization.
- Create and manage a CoE that promotes innovation, optimizes efficiency, and improves software development processes.
- Develop governance processes to monitor and ensure compliance with software development standards, including code reviews, quality assurance, and security measures.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders, to align development efforts with business objectives.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with software development, including security vulnerabilities, data privacy concerns, and regulatory compliance.
Software Architect | Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of increased depth within Full Stack Development and emerging technology with the last 5+ years focusing on establishing and managing a Healthcare Center of Excellence.
- Exposure to Cerner solutions, healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR), healthcare workflows, and data privacy regulations (HIPAA).
- Previous experience with architecture design documents, technical roadmaps, and business socialization.
- Solid understanding of the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET, SOAP, RESTful, and related technologies.
- Experience with SQL, React, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, and related libraries.
- Hands-on expertise in managing and mentoring development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
