What you'll be doing
As an IT Asset Management (ITAM) BI & Reporting Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring CIBC's technology asset lifecycle for Hardware, Software and Cloud meets all internal, industry and regulatory reporting requirements in accordance with CIBC ITAM Governance and Operations.
This includes ensuring specific metric types of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs) are developed, maintained and visualized for various Operational and Strategic reporting. Other reporting/visualizations will be developed in support of maintaining quality assurance of the U.S. Regions inventory of IT Assets.
You’ll be joining the ITAM team within CIBC’s US Technical Operations organization. You will be a subject matter expert on Business Intelligence and Visualization in accordance with ITAM practices, and provide advisory to project and operational teams. You will foster ideation and impact our digital and agile transformation by enhancing our clients’ banking experience.
How You’ll Succeed
Leadership Skills: Act as the ITAM BI & Visualization SME and provide advisory and expertise to ensure the U.S. ITAM Program is on track to meet objectives. Support other team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
Strong Communication Skills: You are a strong written/verbal communicator who is willing to speak up to ensure clear communication channels with team members and other teams. You are able to clearly communicate with different team members and teams while also being able to communicate to executive leadership when required.
Technological Expertise: You are able to demonstrate a strong technical experience in BI & Visualization practices and tools. Utilizing your skillset in a technical leadership capacity to drive progress and provide value through effective visualizations that “Tell the Story” of ITAM Data Quality & Process Maturity for the CIBC U.S. Region.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate 4+ years of experience in the following.
Design and development of BI & Visualizations in a large enterprise environments
Practical working knowledge of IT Asset Management data, and visualizations.
Experience with ServiceNow Reporting & Performance Analytics capabilities
Ability to assess, and design or remediate data visualizations in support of ITAM Business Processes
Experience with the ServiceNow Data Model across ITSM/ITOM Capabilities.
Experience with developing advanced reporting capabilities (e.g., Critical Success Factors (CSFs), KPIs, KRIs, SLA/OLAs and operational/performance metrics.
You have a degree in Computer Science, Programming, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience and at least one certification. Certifications: ITILv4 Foundation, ITILv4 ITAM Practice Manager, ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
