Spero Health is seeking an Assistant Facility Administrator to join our awesome teams in Louisville, KY and Jeffersonville, IN!
*** This position will work with both our Louisville, KY (3-4 days/week) and Jeffersonville, IN (1-2 days/week) clinics ***
This position is for an Assistant Facility Administrator who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment. This person will monitor workflow functions, outcomes, customer satisfaction and quality measures under the supervision and direction of the Facility Administrator. The Assistant Facility Administrator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Financial Management:
- Supervises inventory management including purchasing, product selection, and supply usage.
- Ensures patient treatment charge information and other related data are accurate and submitted in timely manner by means of designated reporting system.
- Makes payment arrangements with patients under the direction of the Facility Administrator and/or Revenue Operations team.
Risk Management/Quality Assurance Compliance:
- Ensures Compliance with all policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations for patient care and services (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA, and other governing agencies).
- Ensures compliance with State or Federal Regulations of the Injury Prevention and Safety Training Program.
- Maintains Quality Assurance Programs as required by the Company.
- Constantly looks at current processes and procedures and identifies and implements areas of improvement while adhering to HIPPA, CARF, DOH as well as state Medicaid and payer requirements.
Facility/Equipment Management:
- Ensures equipment and supplies are maintained to provide quality care and to ensure the safety of patients and teammates.
- Identifies and plans prompt corrective action for any issues with safety or equipment and systems.
Patient Care Management
- Fosters a sense of urgency in teammates that promotes commitment to optimal clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance for the facility.
Teammate Management:
- Creates, maintains and communicates employee schedules according to the needs of the facility.
- Provides leadership to direct reports in the absence of the Facility Administrator.
- Helps direct report overcome any organizational obstacles encountered during projects.
- Knows, understands, Implements, follows and communicates to teammate all Spero Health employment policies and procedures.
- Ensures all Spero Health employment processes are completed in a timely fashion and in compliance with Company policy and applicable laws, including but not limited to Performance Development Reviews, teammate personnel files, etc.
- Reviews and approves timecards of direct reports for bi-weekly payroll in absence of the Facility Administrator.
- Maintains and communicates facility emergency management programs and ability to act swiftly, confidently in an emergency.
- Knows, understands and implements Spero Health safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree in related area strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience required in management (healthcare, business or military) or equivalent behavioral health experience at discretion of Chief Operations Officer and/or Regional Operations Director.
