Senior Systems Analyst / IT Solutions Designer – Finance Systems

Job Summary 

As a Senior Systems Analyst / IT Solutions Designer, you will contribute to Finance Systems implementation and integration projects within a complex, international context. Working closely with Business Analysts, you will design, implement, and maintain technical solutions supporting financial data flows and accounting interfaces.

This position is Hybrid in Lisbon.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to Finance Systems projects across all delivery phases

• Collaborate closely with project managers and business analysts

• Design and document technical specifications for financial interfaces

• Define data structures and technical flows feeding finance systems

• Implement and maintain the accounting interpreter and system evolutions

• Coordinate with IT, finance systems, and engineering teams

• Contribute to and execute technical, integration, and reporting tests

• Support the accounting and reporting test phases under your responsibility

• Provide post-go-live technical support and maintenance

• Handle change and maintenance requests on finance interfaces
  

Requirements for the role 

• 6+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Developer Analyst, or IT Solutions Designer

• Master’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Experience in Finance, Banking, or Accounting IT environments

• Knowledge of financial information systems and data flows

• Experience working with Excel

• Understanding of accounting and banking concepts

• Experience with testing methodologies and quality assurance

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

• Fluent in English

• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
