Electrician Helper (Albuquerque, NM)

Job Summary:

The Electrical Service Apprentice / Helper will assist Service Technicians on various electrical projects assigned by Supervisor or Service Coordinator.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·        Assist with the installation of various electrical systems, both indoor and outdoor.

·        Perform duties assigned by the Service Tech or Supervisor in a timely manner.

·        Help with Install wiring in residential homes and commercial buildings

·        Follow all safety procedures.

·        Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and ladders.

·        Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout workday. 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

·        Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn the trade.

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

·        Must have reliable transportation to and from the assigned job site throughout the greater Orlando area.

·        Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

·        Must be able to pass a full background check, drug test and DMV

·        Must be able to work 40 hours a week, including overtime if required.

Education and Experience:

·        High school diploma or equivalent required.

·        Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.

 

Physical Requirements:

·        Physically able to work with heavy tools and equipment at heights.

·        Must be able to lift 60 pounds at a time to carry heavy cable.

·        Work in confined attic or crawl spaces.

·        This is an hourly position requiring the employee to record the working hours on a personal smart phone app.
