Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Red Team Security Engineer to work 100% REMOTE. The candidate should at minimum possess an active Public Trust security clearance with an eligibility to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

 

• Technical Lead Responsible for overall assessment execution
• Leads the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM) to help government departments and agencies understand their operational resilience and ability to manage cyber risk
• Assess an HVA’s security environment and organizational processes through interviews, artifact examination, and technical testing. Designed to understand the HVA security architecture to understand its resilience as well as provide recommendations for improvement
• Key deliverable is the HVA Assessment Final Report
• Writes the majority of the assessment report
• Supports meetings with key stakeholders throughout the assessment.
• Serves as primary assessment team POC and debriefs and delivers the assessment report.
• Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity research, continuously updating knowledge on emerging threats, attack techniques, and defensive technologies.
• Contribute to the development of new penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Become a technical adviser to all other tiers of team members in resolving technical issues and concerns.
• Become a technical adviser to clients regarding findings and remediations.
• Establish and update process and procedures for current and future technical work and engagements.
• Orchestrates and manages work share across the penetration testers to include scheduling, utilization both for assessments and program management reviews
• Conduct penetration testing on systems, networks, and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Collaborate with other penetration testers and security teams to plan and execute penetration tests.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and analyze the results to provide recommendations for remediation.
• Use various tools and techniques to simulate real-world cyber-attacks and identify potential security risks.
• Document and communicate findings, including detailed reports on vulnerabilities, potential exploits, and recommended remediation steps.
• Assist in the development of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address identified security issues.
• Collaborate with system administrators and developers to implement security measures and best practices.\
• Understanding and adept with testing and assessing Databases, web applications, and wireless devices.
• Provide detailed reports outlining vulnerabilities, potential exploits, and recommendations for remediation.
• Engage with clients to assist in discussions and explain penetration testing findings, providing clear communication on risks and remediation strategies.
• Perform social engineering assessments on clients via email and phone.
• Ensure that penetration testing activities align with industry standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Take a leadership role in planning and executing penetration testing projects.

Qualifications
