Boeing Defense, Space & Security is looking for a Senior Production System Architect to join the team based out of El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, innovative producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.

• Conceptualizes and oversees the implementation of the program architecture for build.

• Consults upper management on long-range planning. Develops manufacturing plans or concepts for high level program requirements.

• Integrates with the program to identify, quantify, and mitigate production level risks.

• Experience in working with supply chain and external vendors to improve producibility.

• Resolves complex technical problems. Organizes technical aspects of proposal development.

• Develops and authors new engineering principles, theories and advanced technologies.

• Develops advanced design solutions.

• Conducts research resulting in new product or business opportunities.

• Consults on lean principles and technologies for enterprise-wide initiatives.

• Documents and communicates producibility best practices.

• Identifies training needs.

• Establishes procedures, standards, protocols and reporting requirements.

 This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

• 5+ years of experience with Manufacturing and/or Integration in a production environment.

• 5+ years of experience performing producibility analysis and deriving production system requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Extensive experience with vehicle level assembly integration and test.

• Knowledgeable on overall production systems such as MRP, MBOM methodologies, and Configuration Management.

• Knowledgeable in common satellite product structures and build flows.

Summary pay range: $142,800 – $193,200
