Technical Trainer - Industrial Maintenance

BHS Corrugated North America is seeking a Technical Trainer for our Industrial Maintenance Program.
You can be based anywhere in North America, however frequent travel to our customer locations will be required. BHS has offices in Knoxville, TN; Baltimore, MD; and Chicago, IL but we have employees who represent us all across the country.
The Job:
The Technical Trainer is responsible for training the operating and maintenance staff on how to operate BHS Corrugated equipment, commissioning new machinery, and solving basic problems on corrugators.
Responsibilities:
- Training customer’s and BHS Maintenance staff on the proper maintenance, process, and functioning of BHS corrugated equipment.
- Maintenance training to maintain technical availability
- Lessons and technical advice to the customer
- Drafting reports on training results, initial / final interviews, and training results
- Develop a training plan and necessary training materials to meet customer needs. Training plans will range from formal classroom training, on the job training, and informal training.
- Selling training courses to increase customer satisfaction and productivity.
- Communication and exchange of experience with sales, project planning, service, manufacturing and assembly and development
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Required Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact at all levels of personnel
- Must have an outgoing, “coaching” personality with enthusiasm for public speaking and the ability to engage adult learners
- Inquisitive and analytical nature to be able to self-teach and comprehend the functionality of new machines when required.
- Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office, such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Extensive travel required throughout the US and sometimes international
- Must have valid driver’s license and be able to receive a passport
Ideal Candidate:
- Preferred Experience
- Associates Degree or Higher in Engineering Sciences or equivalent experience in the Corrugated Industry
- Previous experience in Maintenance in the Corrugated Industry
