Regional Supply & Demand Planning Manager

Cartier | Coral Gables, FL

Reports to: Regional Supply Chain Director

 

MAIN PURPOSE

 

Team Management

  • Leads the team members in charge of other product categories (Watches & Eyewear)
  • Trains, develops, motivates and mentors member(s) every day.
  • Sets and reviews objectives to ensure performance.

 

Forecasting

  • Responsible for regional sales forecasts, for the following product categories: Jewellery, Eyewear, Fragrances & POSM based on past sales figures, projected trends, and markets strategy, in collaboration with the central teams based in Switzerland.
  • Sizes the novelties in collaboration with Marketing Product Managers and Commercial teams.

 

Model Stock Maintenance, Inventory Policy & Automatic Replenishment

  • Defines (and updates) the model stocks in the Region, in accordance with the central guidelines and in collaboration with the regional commercial teams as well as central operations for the full network: 6 Internal Boutiques, 12 External Boutiques and 125 Watch Specialists
  • Ensures that the inventory policies are well dimensioned to secure proper replenishment.
  • Sets the Automatic Replenishment for external partners and MDS for internal boutiques.

 

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Creates, updates, and uses Supply Chain related dashboards to monitor regional activity to anticipate shortages/overstocks and alert the concerned/impacted departments accordingly. Reports on monthly basis risks and opportunities

 

Skills & Competencies

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree – preferably in Supply Chain
  • Self-motivated, team player, quick learner, positive attitude, ability deal with heavy workload and stress at times, good communicator, great sense of proactivity, challenges the status quo.
  • 5 years (or more) of experience in Supply & Demand Planning or Merchandising
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills & computer savvy.
  • Excel expert with preferred experience with SAP, Anaplan, Power Bi and/or Tableau
  • Experience and knowledge of the luxury industry is a plus.
  • Good understanding of local culture and local teams’ needs
  • Fluent in English. Spanish, French and Portuguese are a plus.
  • Travel may be required.
