The Public Records Intelligence group of the Data Operations team is a dedicate group supporting Driving History Solutions products with the vision to provide the most informative and intelligent insights about a person’s driving risk, bringing segmentation to unserved markets and untapped parts of the insurance lifecycle.  With our unique and proprietary data assets, deep insurance expertise, and track record of delivering useful analytics, we are building next generation solutions to deliver on our vision.

Principal Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Committed to implementing quality control methods with a strong desire to meet and exceed expectations through attention to detail, technical knowledge, and willingness to troubleshoot and support team members. 
  • Support data ingestion process from data source development cycle to production environment supporting ongoing operational needs of Public Records Intelligence.
  • Implement quality control tasks and processes that routinely measure data quality and positive data outcomes to effectively grow data sources.
  • Technically skilled with working knowledge of relational databases. Systematically assess and evaluate data consumption processes by reviewing new and existing data sources utilizing a suite of in-house statistical analysis tools. Comfortable using data statistical programs.
  • Monitor and manage large data sets that are tracked through various data systems.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments related to data collection and data management. Comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical team members. 
  • Work closely with data owners, data users and data custodians (IT) to ensure the root cause of reported data issues are understood and underlying problems as well as associated symptoms are resolved.
  • Effectively present data quality trends and findings to stakeholders as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Math, Statistics preferred)
  • Ability to analyze large data sets for trends and patterns
  • Strong logical reasoning skills
  • Experience using and developing data profiling routines and data quality
  • Ability to prioritize and troubleshoot data consumption and data quality problems
  • Expert in spreadsheet generation and manipulation
  • SQL queries/query writing
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Professional and positive demeanor
  • Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
