What you’ll be doing:

  • Work closely with company leaders, the Cruise Program Management Office and hardware/software TPMs to create and own program milestones, cross-team integration points, overall schedule & execution plans.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define silicon strategy and requirements
  • Lead cross-functional development on new technology from design through delivery
  • Managing and Driving complex, fast-evolving silicon programs, both in-house and by third-party vendor partners
  • Proactively resolve issues and drive course corrections as needed - be directly involved in helping teams foresee and overcome barriers or blockers.
  • Capture and track inter-team dependencies and handoffs; monitor and help resolve issues.
  • Mentor and supervise the team
  • Resource and roadmap planning
  • Keep cross-functional teams informed and aligned on team progress & needs
  • Define program deliverables, metrics and KPIs, set up mechanisms to track/report.
  • Conduct periodic retrospectives; continuously assess & improve process & tools.
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks and change control

What you must have:

  • BS in engineering, science, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience with project management role for the development of SOC hardware in a cross-functional, cross-organizational context
  • Experience with ASIC methodologies, tape out release and silicon validation process
  • Prior experience leading an ASIC technical program management team
  • Preferred experience with ASIC manufacture process
  • Ability to understand complex technical systems and programs
  • Strong technical and nontechnical communication skills
  • Track record of being able to influence people and teams that do not report into you
  • A passion for identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to improve processes and increase efficiency
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheets

  • Experience with automotive, robotics, autonomous vehicles
  • Experience with computer/sensing hardware
  • Experience with requirements management tools like Jama, DOORS, Rhapsody

The salary range for this position is $184,500 - $271,200. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
