The Red Hat Global Resilience Management team is looking for a Business Resilience Program Intern to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will collaboratively support global business units and risk partners in the execution of our Business Resilience program. Business Resilience at Red Hat consists of three core components to mitigate operational interruptions: Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM). Red Hat has established and supports the risk framework by identifying, categorizing, monitoring and mitigating risk associated with doing business with third party organizations.

 

In this role, you’ll work with business partners to identify and help prioritize their critical vendors. Then you’ll use data from internal and external sources to identify and interpret trends, strengths and weaknesses. You’ll work with and support key Business Resilience team members to create data views, reports and dashboards that empower decisions and simplify the life cycle.

What you will do

  • Develop analyses, metrics and reports that ensure vendor risks are identified, analyzed, reported
  • Assist the business to identify critical vendors for business continuity and recommend mitigation actions to close risk exposures
  • Assist in supporting global risk partners and stakeholders with the vendor risk process using ServiceNow’s Vendor Risk Management (VRM) module and Fusion Risk Management tools
  • Assist in the production of ad-hoc reporting and analyses producing visualizations of quantitative data as needed
  • Produce evidence of the analysis and documentation of a repeatable, annual process

 

In this role, you’ll help develop or enhance your:

  • Interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Understanding of vendor risk, business continuity, and business controls
  • Knowledge of industry security standards, associated controls, and audit requirements for compliance
  • Communication and presentation skills both verbal and in writing
  • Organizational and time management skills and your ability to work independently or collaboratively with a global team

What you will bring

  • Seeking a Bachelor’s in Risk Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or related data analytics discipline

  • Flexible working hours to support global audience a must

  • Proficiency in standard PC programs like Google Suite or Microsoft Office
