Job Description

Carat is seeking an Associate Director, Planning to support one of its largest clients, a global tech giant. Reporting to Director, Planning, in this role you will manage a team, lead planning activities and ensure successful cross-functional communication with the client and various channel teams. 

You will: 

  • Be accountable for media plan output timelines, accuracy, and overall excellence 

  • Partner with activation teams to create campaign plans. 

  • Oversee financial reporting, flow charts, budget trackers, etc. 

  • Manage expectations and client deliverables 

  • Maintain client relationships 

  • Maintain communications process with clients, offline media teams, creative, etc. for each piece of the business within the team. 

  • Direct the development of client presentations and other important communications 

  • Lead client presentations 

  • Partner with strategy and insights team to create audience profiles 

  • Act as lead on Global media plan creation, working with local markets to plan and activate Global campaigns

Qualifications

You have: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • 6+ years of media planning experience 

  • Proven leadership ability – experience managing a team of planners & supervisors 

  • Knowledge of current trends and innovations in media

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000 - $106,000. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
