About the role
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Looking up parts for wholesale or technicians
- Filling orders
- Answering telephones
- Staying current with special order parts
- Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordingly
- Create and modify purchase orders
- Issue purchase orders to appropriate vendor to order parts
- Record warranty parts returned
- Create special ordered parts on dealership computer system; notify Service Advisor, Technicians or Client upon receipt
- Review of special order parts tracking
- Process and close open invoices
- Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
- Keep records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
- Perform ongoing wholesale parts inventory
- Attend weekly department meetings
Work Experience requirements:
- Dealership Parts experience is required
- Two years + Buick GMC dealership Parts Advisor experience is a plus
- Efficient with ordering parts and maintaining inventory
- Excellent people skills with internal staff and customers
- OEC knowledge / MPI or equivalent experience
- Spanish/Bilingual is a plus (not required)
