Job purpose

The PC&L Team Leader will be a key role in Material Handling and Inventory Control. The focus of this position will be to maintain flow of material to production and maintain warehouse control

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with outbound and inbound traffic
• Utilize SAP to receive materials accurately; verify quantities and quality of incoming materials.
• Ensure delivery routes are being followed and stocked
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues with receiving, shipping, and stocking levels.
• Prepare appropriate shipping paperwork for both Domestic and International shipments.
• Maintain warehouse organization (Layout)
• Utilize SAP to accurately transfer stock between plants for JIT utilization.
• Material delivery to production
• Cycle counts

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years minimum warehouse experience
• Automotive or similar field required
• Ability to delegate tasks
• Strong background in SAP preferred
• Valid forklift driver’s license and ideally ADR license or experience handling hazardous goods
• Team player with a pioneer mentality
• Ability to be a self-starter who is proactive with making decisions
• Ability to solve problems and deal with conflicts as well as assertiveness and strong communication skills
