Quality Technician

Main Tasks

• Pull scrap data daily and distribute data to Operations (Engineers / Managers)
• Responsible for material on hold, moving inventory in SAP
• Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Perform dimensional and functional tests using calibrated tools and equipment
• Support internal audits and regulatory compliance activities
• Maintain and control quality testing tools for use
• Able to stop the line when finding not in compliance
• Communicate relevant information to Team leaders, Supervisors and Managers
• Record problems found in testing for report to Quality engineer
• Keeping reports maintainable and auditable
• Additional duties as assigned

Your Profile

• High school diploma required; completion of a Technical School Program or Engineering preferred
• A minimum of 1 year experience in Quality Function
• Effectively analyzes complex quality testing to determine optimal solutions
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Possess a sound knowledge in mathematics
• Strong Computer skills to include experience using SAP, Power BI and MS Office Excel
• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail and problem solving
• Use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and minimize risk
