The ESG / Sustainable Finance regulatory requirements impact all dimensions of financial institutions. The rapidly changing environment, related changing strategies and technology-driven client services, creates new opportunities and new risks, such as the risks related to ESG (Environment, Social, Governance). Helping our clients in the Financial Services sector to go through their Sustainable Finance journey is one of our key priorities.</p><p></p><p>In the position as an<b> ESG / Sustainable Finance Manager/ Senior Manager, </b>you’ll focus on identifying and prioritizing sustainability issues, assisting clients to set goals that support alignment and integration of the sustainability vision into the overall corporate strategy, and helping them implementing processes, controls, systems, and dashboards to measure progress for consistent and accurate reporting.</p><p>A career with our Financial Services Sustainability team will enable you to help clients meet evolving stakeholder expectations for transparency on environmental, social and governance topics.</p><p></p><p><b>Your impact</b></p><ul><li><p>Responsibilities in projects for clients, focusing on the ESG implementation, i.e. ESG processes and controls, Non-financial reporting preparation (CSRD), ESG data, related frameworks and reporting dashboards, facilitating the communication within the project stakeholders to enable the ESG implementation activities to be rolled out (front and back office, IT, risk, etc) </p></li><li><p>Active participation in client discussions to help them dealing with the understanding of the impacts of ESG, the operational implications and assisting them in shaping target operating models and business processes</p></li><li><p>Work most of the time in close collaboration with our clients, at our client’s promises depending on the agreement with them </p></li><li><p>Learn about new regulations and understand their impact on the financial institutions (governance, risk management, processes, organization, people and technology)</p></li><li><p>Advise clients on their risk and regulatory agendas and help them to operationalise these in their day-to-day businesses </p></li><li><p>Develop a holistic approach to increase the level of trust, implement strategic decisions in a sustainable manner and enhance efficiency</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>About you</b></p><ul><li><p>Master's in (applied) economics, business engineering (e.g. management information systems), law, or any relevant economic major, possibly via a second master's or PhD - an ESG / Sustainable Finance study background is a plus</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5 year(s) of non-financial risks auditing, risk assessment/process assurance consulting in sustainability matters within financial institutions</p></li><li><p>Concrete ESG and Sustainable Finance experience (disclosures, taxonomy, development of risk indicators, etc)</p></li><li><p>A professional experience in credit risk consulting is an asset</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills combined with critical mindset and client-oriented skills</p></li><li><p>Born team player who likes to take initiative</p></li><li><p>Fast learner, open to challenges and keen to continue learning and developing</p></li><li><p>Fluent in Dutch and/or French, as well as English</p></li><li><p>Open to learning new technologies, robotic process automation or data analytics skills</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Life at PwC Belgium</b></p><p>Our culture and workplace are something we’re proud of.
