Disability Determination Services (DDS) is dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and cost‑effective determinations for disability claims filed under Title II, Title XVI, and Title XIX of the Social Security Act.
We are seeking a DDS Analyst – Journey Level to help carry out this mission by adjudicating disability claims with precision, efficiency, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
• Adjudicating disability claims by determining eligibility in accordance with all applicable SSA and Virginia DDS policies and procedures.
• Promoting accuracy by consistently applying policy and maintaining high-quality case processing standards.
• Providing excellent customer service through teamwork, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the DDS mission.
• Completing additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ability to analyze information and data, arriving at well-supported decisions or conclusions following established policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task, meet multiple established deadlines, and organize and manage a caseload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of PC and position-related software applications.

- Must pass HSPD-12 federal credentialing.
- This has been designated a sensitive position under Va. Code § 2.2-1201.1.
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) will conduct an extensive fingerprint-based criminal history check and credentialing process on all final candidates.
