The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

1What Is the Opportunity?
This position is responsible for providing quality claim handling of low complexity General Liability claims from the first notice of loss through resolution/settlement and payment process. Claim types include clear liability with minor bodily injury and property damage exposures.Travelers offers a hybrid work location model that is designed to support flexibility.
What Will You Do?
Customer Contacts/Experience:
- Delivers consistent service quality throughout the claim handling process, including but not limited to prompt contact, explaining the process, on-going communication, and meeting commitments to achieve optimal outcome on every file
- Involves significant customer interactions and resolving issues with an empathic approach.
Coverage Analysis:
- Validates coverage in multiple state jurisdictions. Addresses proper application of any deductibles and verifies benefits available and coverage limits that will apply.
- Refers claims beyond authority as appropriate based on exposure and established guidelines. Recognizes and forwards appropriate files to Notice of Loss Coordinator (NOLC).
Negotiation/Resolution:
- Determines settlement amounts. Conveys claim settlements within authority limits to claimants.
- Insurance License:
- In order to perform the essential functions of this job, acquisition and maintenance of Insurance License(s) may be required to comply with state and Travelers requirements. Generally, license(s) must be obtained within three months of starting the job and obtain ongoing continuing education credits as mandated.

What is a Must Have?
- High School Diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience or Bachelor's degree required.
